There is a major emergency response to an collision in Rochdale this evening, with police and paramedics in attendance.
Emergency crews have blocked off the junction of Milkstone Road and Drake Street tonight in both directions causing major traffic delays.
An air ambulance was also scrambled to the scene, landing nearby earlier this evening.

A driver who crashed during a police chase in Rochdale fled the scene and left his passenger with life-threatening injuries on Thursday evening (June 5).
Emergency services raced to the horror collision on Drake Street, at the junction with Milkstone Road, at around 6.15pm. A huge cordon was put in place with an air ambulance also landing nearby.
Police chase ends in crash and driver leaves passenger seriously injured
A short police pursuit resulted in a crash on Drake Street this evening.
A car which was being followed by officers then struck another vehicle.
The driver fled the scene and left a passenger in the vehicle with life-threatening injuries.
A spokesperson for GMP said:
At around 6.15pm today, officers approached a suspicious vehicle on Drake Street, Rochdale.
The vehicle subsequently made off from police and after a short pursuit, collided with another vehicle.
The suspected driver made off and a passenger in the vehicle sustained serious, life-threatening injuries. One person from another vehicle received minor injuries.
A scene is currently in place and we thank nearby residents for their patience as this work is carried out. Enquiries are currently ongoing.
Unconfirmed reports of 'car being chased'
There are unconfirmed reports of a car 'being chased' along Drake Street before the collision this evening.
At least one other vehicle was involved, and was seen with the front bumper torn off after spinning around in the road.
"I saw the helicopter flying around. Two men were put in an ambulance"
One witness has tonight told the MEN: "I saw the helicopter flying around Rochdale.
"We found there had been a crash on Drake Street. When we got there there were so many police and ambulances all over.
"I saw two males being put into an ambulance and someone else was injured. There is still a big police presence here now and it's all blocked off."

Reports of serious crash involving multiple vehicles
Witnesses have reported that there was a serious crash on Drake Street earlier tonight involving multiple vehicles.
Pictures have been taken showing at least two damaged cars within the cordon.
No details have yet been confirmed by Greater Manchester Police, who have been approached for a statement.

A large cordon has been extended to cover nearby Vicar's Drive.
Air ambulance lands on Broadfield Park
An air ambulance landed on Broadfield Park following the incident earlier this evening.
A number of road ambulances also raced to the scene, which was cordoned off.
The road closure remains in place while police and emergency crews respond.
