When does the transfer window open again? Man City wait on Tijjani Reijnders deal
Manchester City transfer news with Rayan Cherki and Tijjani Reijnders deals close.
Manchester City are expected to confirm the deal for Tijjani Reijnders in the coming hours - despite the first transfer window of the summer closing.
Clubs were given an additional window this summer to sign players owing to the Club World Cup in America. An early window opened on June 1 and shut on Tuesday at 7pm, allowing sides such as City, who are competing in the States, to add players to their squad.
The Blues have concluded a move for Rayan Ait-Nouri with the Wolves left back joining for around £33million. Pep Guardiola's side have also added Marcus Bettinelli from Chelsea to replace Scott Carson and act as third-choice goalkeeper. And on Tuesday night they confirmed the arrival of Lyon playmaker Rayan Cherki for an initial £31million.
City are also expected to tie up a move for AC Milan midfielder Tijjani Reijnders to take their summer arrivals to four. The quartet are all expected to be part of the Club World Cup squad.

The FIFA Club World Cup will see 32 of the world's best club teams including Man City, Chelsea, Real Madrid, PSG and Bayern Munich play across 63 games from June 14-July 13.

But any further signings, or departures, will have to wait with the transfer window now closed for a few days. The main window opens next week, on Monday June 16, and will run until September 1, when it will close at the earlier time of 7pm rather than the more traditional 11pm.
The Premier League have brought the deadline forward by four hours to help provide a better work-life balance to staff employed in football.
City are expected to wait before exploring any further signing opportunities having acted swiftly so far.
Midfielders James McAtee and Jack Grealish are set to depart the Etihad this summer with both seeking more regular football.
It remains to be seen whether any more senior players depart with a degree of uncertainty around several players, including Ederson, Stefan Ortega, Bernardo Silva, Ilkay Gundogan and Oscar Bobb.
But all five are under contract and have either spoken themselves about a desire to stay or have received the same message in public from Guardiola.
City finished third in the Premier League last season and lost the FA Cup final to Crystal Palace having made early exits from the Champions League and the Carabao Cup.
